It is designed to address the needs of every department in your organization so you don’t need multiple vendors. Users can select from our flexible phone options such as IP desk phones, soft and web clients, mobile apps as well as telephony integrations with leading providers. Our clean and intuitive UI lets users interact and multi-task in ways that they prefer without having to install plug-ins or deal with multiple windows and popups. Plus, it’s so easy to provision that it’s practically plug-and-play. To ensure business continuity and security, Mitel MiCLOUD Connect has built-in operational redundancies and Secure Real-time Transport Protocol (SRTP) so your system is always running at top performance How is Call Quality Ensured? Mitel MiCloud Connect can be delivered two ways, both of which ensure call quality. First, if your business wants to lock down security and remove any trace chance of jitter or loss of quality, Mitel can deliver the service over a private data T-1, not even touching the open internet. This does of course increase the monthly costs because instead of using the existing data connections, the business is adding a data T-1, however it does ensure quality and security. The second option is to enable SDWAN technology to create an environment within the existing data connection which will protect call quality. As an example, think of your data connection as a highway. When the road becomes congested, traffic slows down; this can cause delayed email, slow internet, and calls that sounds choppy or generally low quailty. SDWAN creates a reserved lane for voice, so if traffic picks up, the dedicated voice channel enables, protecting the voice quality. SDWAN is surprisingly affordable and many organizations choose to use the product simply as an insurance against poor voice quality caused by slow data connections. Both of these options are a solid choice, but offer slightly different advantages over each other. What Phones Operate on Mitel MiCloud Connect?

There are two exciting family of phones available for the Mitel MiCloud Connect.
Mitel 400 Series for Mitel Connect The first group are the former ShoreTel 400 series- the IP420, IP40, and color screen IP485. Feature rich, CSM is positively obsessed with this family of VoIP phones! To begin with, they are simple and easy to use. Inheriting the “Brilliantly Simple” engineering from ShoreTel, Mitel has kept this philosophy with the enhancements made on the Mitel Connect Cloud platform. IP420– This is the basic phone, designed for workrooms, break rooms, and other low traffic areas or users who only handle one call at a time. IP480- Known as the workhorse of the bunch. Complete with 8 programmable buttons, 5 softkeys, and 10 pre-programmed function keys, this phone is by far the most common phone installed by CSM when clients are looking to upgrade their phone system. IP485– This gorgeous telephone offers a color screen and is primarily designed for executives or other area where a business wants to convey an aspect of luxury or success. Mitel 6900 Series on MiCloud Connect The second series of phones comes from the Mitel heritage, called the 6900 series. These beautiful SIP telephones have three models, the 6920, 6930 and 6940. 6920–  Designed from the ground up to combine flexibility and reliability for all users.
